PJC honours top athletes

Pauline Johnson Collegiate recently held its annual athletic awards banquet, handing out team awards and athlete of the year honours.

Quinton Luscombe was the junior boys athlete of the year, Ameera Iqbal won the junior girls athlete of the year, Zac Ebert was the senior boys athlete of the year and Ella Williams captured the senior girls athlete of the year.

Other major award winners included Lucas Fielding, Alan Savage senior male athlete; Aiden Williams, Robert Freeman junior male athlete; Alex Barton, junior girl excellence in student athletes; Sarah Fielding, senior female award of merit; Ryan Crabb, Woodcroft male; Hannah Inkes, Woodcroft female, Cavelle Sproule, Niomi Cronk and Esabel Hassoun, volunteer awards.

Golf: Kailey Cromwell, MVP.

Cross-country: Tristan Garlow, most outstanding.
